Configure Guard

Add .cedr/guard.toml to the repo when you need more than the defaults:

Ignored checks apply to cedr lint only. cedr verify always reports drift from the lock.

Review Exceptions

Start with the default checks. Add an exception only after reviewing the finding and deciding why it is acceptable. Prefer a path-specific [[lint.allow]] entry over disabling the check everywhere.

Run cedr lint after editing the file and confirm that unrelated findings still appear. Keep the configuration in version control so teammates can review why the repository’s checks differ from the defaults.
