Managing Your Subscription

Owners and admins manage billing on the Billing page; members see the current plan and its status without the buttons or payment details.

The top of the page shows the plan, whether it is active, on trial, set to cancel or waiting on a payment, the next payment and its date, and the current billing period. Owners and admins also see the card it is charged to and where invoices are sent.

Choose a plan on the Billing page to go to a secure checkout page. After paying you return to the app with the plan active. To move to another plan or between monthly and annual billing, choose it on the same page.

A subscription is billed for the organization’s members, but never fewer than the plan’s minimum. A three-person team on Business, for example, is billed for 10 developers. The Billing page shows how many seats you are billed for.

Recent invoices are listed at the bottom of the Billing page, with links to view, pay or download each one. Payment and Invoices opens the billing portal, where you can:

  • Update your card and billing address.
  • See and download every past invoice and receipt. The billing service sends receipts to the billing contact; see Email Notifications.

Select Cancel Subscription on the Billing page and confirm on the page that opens. A cancelled subscription keeps its plan until the end of the period you paid for, then the organization moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.

Until that date, the Billing page shows when the plan ends and a Keep button that undoes the cancellation, so the subscription renews as before.

If a renewal payment fails, the billing service notifies the billing contact and your plan stays active while the card is retried. The Billing page shows the overdue amount and the next retry; pay it or update the card with Update Card and Pay. If payment still fails, the organization moves to Free.
