Quickstart
1. Sign In
Section titled “1. Sign In”Open app.cedr.dev, enter your email and choose Email me a sign-in link, or continue with GitHub. Your first sign-in creates your account and your first organization, which starts a 21-day trial of the Team plan with no card needed.
2. Create an API Key
Section titled “2. Create an API Key”In the app, open API Keys under Management, give the key a name that says where it will run (such as laptop or ci-deploy), choose when it expires and select Create key.
Copy the key straight away. It starts with cedr_ and is shown only once; if you lose it, revoke it and create another.
3. Call the API
Section titled “3. Call the API”Store the key in an environment variable, then ask the API who it belongs to:
export CEDR_API_KEY="cedr_..."curl https://api.cedr.dev/v1/me -H "Authorization: Bearer $CEDR_API_KEY"A working key returns your profile, the key’s name and your organizations:
{ "user": { "id": "q7Rz2Lw9Xk4mT1cB", "name": "Sam Rivera", "email": "sam@northwind.example" }, "key": { "name": "ci-deploy" }, "organizations": [{ "id": "Hn5bV8yP3dJ6sA0e", "name": "Northwind Labs", "role": "owner" }]}Next Steps
